Nel 2007 mi è stata data l’occasione da parte degli architetti M. Carapetian e V. Jaklian di dipingere una parete lunga 32 metri presso un ristorante di Los Angeles. Qualche anno addietro avevo già realizzato una parete che completava un mio quadro alla fine di un corridoio di una società di Venezia. Ma questa avventura era nuova e molto più complessa. Ho soprattutto capito quanto è bello salire su un’impalcatura e dipingere per una finalità pubblica.

In 2007 I was commissioned by the architects M. Carapetian and V. Jaklian to paint a 32 metre-long wall for a restaurant in Los Angeles. Some years earlier, I had completed the hanging of one of my paintings in an office corridor in Venice by painting the surrounding wall as well. But this project was new and much more complex. What I took away from the experience was how great it was to get up on scaffolding and paint a work that would be on public display.
